    Arnold Schwarzenegger Life's Journey

    Professional bodybuilder, actor, governor of California. Born on 30 July 1947, near Graz, Austria. Schwarzenegger was first famous as a bodybuilder. He began weight training in his youth and went on to become a world champion bodybuilder to be won many awards for his amazing body. He won the Mr. Universe title five times and Mr. Olympia title six times. He emigrated to the United States in the late 1960s.
    Then a few small parts, Schwarzenegger won a Golden Globe Award as Best Newcomer for his performance in Stay Hungry (1976). He was also in Pumping Iron (1977), presented a bodybuilding documentary. With its intense physical strength and size, Schwarzenegger was a natural for action movies. He was a leading figure in several popular 1980s action films, including Conan the Barbarian (1982). Schwarzenegger also played as a death machine from the future in The Terminator (1984). The sci-fi drama, two sequels, Terminator 2 brought: Judgement Day (1991) and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003).
    A crowd favorite Schwarzenegger made a series of popular films such as True Lies (1994) and Batman & Robin (1997). He even tried his hand at comedy with a series of successes, including the Twins (1988), Kindergarten Cop (1990) and Junior (1994). As the decade came close to Schwarzenegger's popularity seemed to wane.
    In addition to his work in films, Schwarzenegger was a businessman and fitness advocate. He was an investor in the Planet Hollywood restaurant chain. Appointed by President George Bush, served as chairman of the Schwarzenegger President of the Council on Physical Education and Sport in the early 1990s. He also supported the Special Olympics and the Inner City Games for many years.
    A vocal member of the Republican party, Schwarzenegger's campaign for governor of California in 2003. During his run for office, he was accused of sexual assault but no charges were filed. Schwarzenegger was to win the election. As governor, he was encouraging for the state's financial situation, new businesses and to protect the environment. In 2006, Schwarzenegger won easily won his bid for re-election.
    His second term was not so smooth. Schwarzenegger fought to the state to help in difficult financial times. After his resignation in January 2011, he tried to revive his career in the entertainment industry again. Schwarzenegger announced that the famed comic book creator Stan Lee is working on a new animated series inspired use of his time in office. He is the voice of a character to be known as the Governator.
    Only a few months after leaving office, made another announcement Schwarzenegger. He and his wife, journalist Maria Shriver, has its decision to go public in May seemed for some it is an odd political couple.
    Schwarzenegger is known for his conservative Republican view, while Shriver, a member of the Kennedy political dynasty, a force within the Democratic Party for decades. He was married for 25 years, Shriver and the couple has four children: Katherine, Christina, Patrick and Christopher.
